Maja Salvador and Melissa Ricks glam up for Christmas!


Maja Salvador and Melissa Ricks, two of the hottest stars in Philippine primetime television today, sign up for popular apparel brand Petit Monde.

Melissa, star of the hit primetime soap “Nasaan ka Elisa”, will soon start shooting a new soap titled ‘’Walang Hanggan.’’ For all her showbiz and non-showbiz engagements, she relies on Petit Monde for fashion and style.


“Petit Monde has everything from casual shirts, to formal dresses--different prints like floral prints and pastel colors! They even have accessories and colognes to boot! Petit Monde is really every girl’s one-stop shop for all their fashion needs,” says Melissa who goes for comfort and simplicity when it comes to pulling an edgy look.

Meanwhile, Maja Salvador, who just wrapped up ‘’My Binondo Girl’’ and is currently doing shows out of the country, reveals her favorite Petit Monde collection consists of long dresses, trendy shorts, and colorful cardigans for the cool December breeze.


“If you don't feel comfortable with your outfit, don't wear it because it will ruin the whole aura and the look that you are trying to project. The key to dressing well is confidence,” Maja advises.

Melissa looks up to A-list Hollywood actresses Leighton Meester, Rachel McAdams, Blake Lively and Paris Hilton as her fashion idols, while Maja likes Miley Cyrus, Nicole Richie, Jennifer Aniston and Victoria Beckham.

Although Melissa has a stylist who helps her pick out her outfits, she still has the last say about the whole look, always opting for a simple yet well-put finish. Melissa is open to taking risks and exploring different styles.

For its 2011 holiday collection, Petit Monde offers a vast array of clothing that help these stars glam up just right for the yuletide season!

    eversince dina tlga nagbago ni melissa always pamget parin mukhang kontabida chaka ng fes teh...she looks like our labandera fugly., she's the only artista na hindi gumanda now and then....un,ike kay maja shes not that pretty when she was new in the industry typical pinay pero ang laki ng improvement ng kagandahan nya infairness....I don't know why I never like that melissa ang panget nya kase nakulo dugo ko everytime i see her parang walasyang kaparatang maging artista....sorry to say perotru naman tlga everyday nakakasalubong ko sya pero never tlga nagkaapoeal sakin yan. my make up o wala chaka parin ng fes lalo na the whole face...from nose super big pagawa mo kaya yan neng...no wonder iniwan ka ni jakekase narealize na na sobrang guapo sya para sau...hihihihi sorry my bad... wag magalit ang mga fans ako naman ay nagsasabi lang ng katotohanan...

    Sorry for the word but,Melissa is nothing compare to Maja... Ang lamang lang naman ni Mel is that may lahi syang banyaga..... pero kahit ganun paman si Maja parin and Panalo.. Very pinay.. Simple yet gorgeous.... I Like her. I like the way she act, dance She's a very talented girl. Sayang nag lang nag at has inuuna ng management and bff niyang si Kim Chiu bec. of favouritism. Anyway, I cant blame Coco and Matteo kung magsapakan dahil sa pinag aagawan siya.

    get ready for the my cactus heart promo....i'm sure that i'm not gonna watch it....keso inlove na inlove cla pero totoo kaya? dapat sweet na cla and visible na in public ngayon pa lang....coz the movie will be shown this january....dapat may pic na magkasama cla...(this is just for the stupid promo) i'd rather watch coco and angeline's movie than watching and staring at matteo's face and his mediocre acting...
